System behavior

When closing the window: minimize to tray, quit, or ask every time.
Launch at login: start desktop NoteGen with the operating-system session.
Start hidden: available after launch-at-login is enabled, for tray capture and background sync.

If closing minimizes the app, keep the system tray enabled so the background window is easy to reopen.

Appearance

Choose light, dark, or system theme.
Use a preset palette or custom theme color.
Select the font family used by application content.
UI scale changes the whole app; content, file-manager, and record text sizes can be adjusted separately.

Scale and local fonts are device-specific and excluded from cross-device settings sync by default.

Changing the interface language updates most UI immediately. Third-party output, model responses, and document content are not translated automatically. Chat response language is configured separately in the chat toolbar.

System tray

Desktop can keep NoteGen in the system tray. The tray menu can show the window and start quick record actions. Quick actions follow the enabled controls and order in Record settings. Mobile has no system tray.

Chat and record toolbar configuration now lives on the Chat and Record settings pages, with separate desktop and mobile layouts.

Plugin themes and languages

In the matching desktop development build, enabled resource plugins can add theme choices and application languages here. User custom colors take precedence over plugin theme colors. Missing translations use built-in fallbacks. Disabling a provider removes its resources while retaining the selection for re-enablement.

Install and enable the provider through plugin management. SDK publication does not imply support in every stable application release.
